Parents promised me a car before college and now are not honoring that promise. I don’t think they’re entitled to get me a car however I’m upset that they promised one and waited a month until I move out to tell me it wasn’t happening.
I have about $5,000 saved up but I still have to buy all of my dorm supplies. I’m also on an athletic scholarship so a full time job won’t be possible.
How can I afford a cheap (~$7,000) car? I’m thinking putting about $3,500 down and financing for 60 months if possible.
