I absolutely hate greeting cards, but my MIL gets her feelings hurt if we don't send her one for mother's day. It was hurting my soul to shop for $7 super tacky and unnecessarily elaborate mother's day cards, until I found a pack of 10 nice, clean, simple blank note cards in the thank-you notes section for $5. Actually, several options that I thought we're so much cuter than the cards designed for mother's day. I sometimes do give hand written thank-you notes and I can use the extra cards for that.
