Hello all.
I live solo in the middle of a large city. I'm literally walking distance from all the bars, going out spots and scooter distance from downtown and my gym.
My new job allows me to work remotely 100 percent. Just a couple of trips to New York for the year.
For the month that I lived here, I've only filled up my gas tank once. The only places to travel are for my brother who lives 40ish minutes away, and 2 friends that live 20 and 30 minutes away. All other friends come to me because my location is where the fun is.
I've been ordering groceries online and been fine. I also live in scooter distance from a car rental place. My plan on times where I absolutely need a car are to rent one. Googled prices and it was about 80 for 24 hours.
Right now, I pay 290 a month car payment, 190 a month for insurance, then I guess 50 on gas. I owe 10000, but think I can sell it for 7000ish and quickly pay off the rest.
Anything I'm missing here? This seems pretty doable to me.
