Tomorrow we're getting a granite bar top installed on our existing half wall divider in the kitchen. The contractors asked that we remove the current top first. I don't know what I'm doing really. I have been slicing away at the caulking here but am not sure I am even making progress. I was told to just remove the caulk, and carefully pry off the top part that is most likely nailed down. After removing at least 60% of the caulk, the top still doesn't budge an inch, so it makes me worried I'm not doing a good enough job or worried I could damage something if I try to pry it off.Any suggestions on how to effectively remove this top? I've looked all over online before coming here and can never find anything this specific. via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2WXxxNK
