My toaster died in me, it's the second one in 2 years. Anyone recommend a good one that can last?

I feel toasters today are mostly plastic and therfore very fragile, especuló when inserting larger pieces of bread in our, which is the normal case in France. We don't use much regular sliced bread, but rather bigger manually cut baguette or other bigger breads.

This force eventually kills the toaster.
