Hiya! First DIY post.I make lamps out of mannequins I would like to cut a half inch wide channel in the mannequin so that I can inset an LED light strip and then affix crystals/gems to make it look like the lamp is exploding from the chest. I'm not sure which tool would be best to use on this task. Typically, when wiring the lamps I just use a drill and a typical lighting set, but this is a different type of project. I'm thinking maybe a jigsaw...The mannequin is made of wood primarily, but it is coated in a layer of ceramic-like paint, it chips off in large pieces. via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2LIgOfZ
