I have a BFA in Art, but I'm having a hard time finding a job. I graduated in December, and now it's May. I've gotten a few interviews, not a ton.
The thing is, I can't stand living with my parents. I don't want to go i to it, but they are eroding my mental health very successfully and I am probably going to get myself kicked out if I stay much longer.
I have an investment account that my great grandmother set up for me when I was born. It has a value of about $30,000 (there may actually be 2 accounts that add up to that much, my dad is the one who takes care of it so I don't know).
How bad of an idea would it be to cash out all of it and job hunt from a rental house or apartment? What would taxes be like? I think one of the accounts is a Morgan Stanley account, I really don't know.
