I'm replacing the floors in my basement. I finished removing the existing flooring this morning and noticed that there is a series of fairly regularly spaced chips or divots in the concrete all around the perimeter of the finished area. Picture here.They're dry and none of them go all the way through the concrete, at most they're maybe an inch deep. Is there any reason not to patch these before laying the new floor?
