Hi, my first post on the r/DIY subreddit. I've been lurking here for a while now and thought I'd share one of my projects.I recently retired my computer monitor and after watching it go unsused for a few weeks, I decided to repurpose it as a digital photo frame. :)I did not take any photos during construction, but if anyone is interested I can write up the components. It features -Dropbox connected (upload to a folder and the frame auto syncs every 15 minutes) Photo changes every half hour with cross fade effect-chromecast ability, (why not?) -youtube playback (video in the album demonstrating with an aquarium & fireplace video) -integrated 5W speakersI do plan on drilling a hole behind the frame to hide the single DC power wire at a later date for a clean install.Looking forward to hearing feedback! :)PICS and Demo Videos on imgur via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2YOnRpp
