Just looking for some opinions! I assume there are at least some of you who are adept at using various CAD software to design your renos. I have access to both AutoCAD and Revit, but I’m a bit stuck on deciding which one to move forward with. To me it seems like Revit will automate things for me, but so far seems more finicky because it’s graphical, vs AutoCAD which requires more detail work but to me seems more straightforward. Designing a deck and a kitchen reno, and really just want to use the software to create the drawings I need for permits. via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2JNkY3B
