I see so many people buying things that are cheap but they buy it multiple times a year.
Take apple earbuds for example, mine break twice a year generally. $40 a year, research and find a earbud that'll cost you $50 but will last 2 years...just one example of many. This tip generally comes into play when it comes to electronics.
If your buying something expensive like a guitar, but not sure if your gonna continue so you want to buy cheap at first. Cheap guitars are hard to sell used, expensive ones are easy to sell used. This goes for many things as well.
Remember, things that last don't always have to be expensive. Just do research, that's my number one tip.
