I'm a 22 year old single mom. This Fall I'll be going back to college. I'm excited but I'm also taking some time to look deeper into the goals I've set for myself. One of the goals I've set for myself is to own a home. I currently live in California but I want to move to Texas. The housing market is a lot better there. Well it seems to be better almost everywhere else. I'm looking to move in Summer or Fall of 2020. Between now and then I'd like to do some saving. I'd appreciate any tips on budgeting for the down payment, down payment assistance programs or grants, or really just anything you think might point me in the right direction. Thanks for reading.
