I've had a short piece of fence put between my house and next door, and normally the cross wood would be on my side...easy for me to paint, and then just leaning over with a roller running it down the picket slats on the neighbour's side. However, the builders have put the smooth side facing me and the cross/support wood her side.I can obviously do my side picket slats ok...and I can lean over the fence to get partway down the other. One option would be to wait till the neighbour goes out...another would be to contact her landlord for permission to go onto her land to paint it, (she's renting) but I would prefer not to make this neighbour anymore disagreeable than she already is.Im thinking a small thin roller and using something bent at an angle to tape the paintbrush to so I can reach the bottom part of the slats and the underneath of the cross parts.Any other ideas would be appreciated.(The fence was built up in situ so can't be reversed) via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2IKfOoz
