My girlfriend bought a few apple crates from a closing orchard to make into raised garden beds. Nothing crazy, but we have a lot of concrete in the back yard and wanted to move them around, so I put some casters on them.

I had previously made a raised garden bed since a lot of our backyard is pavement. We adopted a husky last year and she likes it better if she is in the garden instead of plants, so we needed some higher garden beds that we could move around. That said, I just finished mounting casters on one of the three apple crates. The caster were a little small, so I grabbed a couple boards from a dismantled pallet and bolted them on along with securing with screws from inside the crate.
