My employer pays for my housing out of state. I will be in an extended stay that will run $800 a week, so $3200 a month.
A subcontractor is putting up his guys at an apartment 1.2 hours away from the site and told me to stay there and just pocket the money. He’s a life long friend who is trying to help me out.
I hate to say this but I don’t want to live for 8 months with 4 construction workers in a one bedroom apartment. Everyone I know is shitting on me for not doing it and I’m second guessing as well.
Thanks almost $26k! I feel like I’ll burnout doing it though. I already lived cheap and poor in college.
Has anyone done anything this extreme?
