So I've always been in apartments with free heat, hot water and gas (bless me) but I'm going to be moving into a complex where it's all electric stoves. Would I be better off investing in a portable butane stove and buy cheap canisters from the local Asian market and keep the electric stove off? I pretty much cook multiple times a day and I can get a 4 pack of 8oz canisters for $4.
