I'm trying to remove an old broken/ugly faucet and can't seem it get it off. The U bracket itself is threaded and on the threaded pipe housing the faucet hose (sorry for any improper terms). I can't find a way to loosen/remove the faucet from above the sink, and with a threaded U bracket (I'm used to smoothsided ones with a nut holding them up) I'm having a ton of trouble removing the damn faucet.
