I'm trying to remove an old broken/ugly faucet and can't seem it get it off. The U bracket itself is threaded and on the threaded pipe housing the faucet hose (sorry for any improper terms). I can't find a way to loosen/remove the faucet from above the sink, and with a threaded U bracket (I'm used to smoothsided ones with a nut holding them up) I'm having a ton of trouble removing the damn faucet. I also can't find any name/branding on the faucet itself to try to research the issue further. Here's both above and below the sink: http://bit.ly/2LeinSE, in advance.Edit: I should also say that I wouldn't be shocked if some bad DIY was involved with this issue - I've already had to have a plumber come and replace two seized stop valves that were so aggressively doped on he had to cut the supply pipe and start over. via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2GSFY7i
