So when I applied for my fasfa I was no longer a dependent to my father. I was over the age limit etc. I had put my income and everything. At that Time I was making 37,000 a year. I filed it and expected to get nothing in return. It's just something I had to do to be able to retrieve my student loans. To to surprise I got a pretty nice federal Pell Grant. Anyway, looking at the info it seems I was eligible because of my age? I'm not sure though. If they ask me to repay it then I can do that. But other than that I just accepted the Pell Grant, because why not? I'm not 100% certain if it was mistake or what.
