Since its creation the very premise of /r/buyitforlife has been very alluring to shills and astroturfing, so the mod team as always been very strict and cautious about anyone who posts direct links to buy products, this has led to two problems 1. shills getting better at hiding 2. honest users posts getting lost due to posting the wrong links.
so in effort to fix this we are adjusting the rule 9. in a trial period if a user who owns a blog/website want to contribute they now have an option to do that

In this trial we have Verified and approved of /u/reviewedmccarthy who works for reviewed.com
