I have grown up thinking that the branded car dealers have the most reputable, knowledgeable and best service technicians out there for cars. However, my first car is just out of the factory warranty and wondering if that is actually true. Is it a gamble taking my car to a shop that is not a dealer for the car I have? What other tips are there about getting the most out of my car regarding maintenance. I don't really know mich about cars and don't really plan to become a mechanic either. I don't have much space to work on my car.
