https://ift.tt/2utpvze I've searched everywhere and can't find the term for the strip of wood in the middle of the door jamb that the door rests against when closed. Also the door is just a tad too narrow and when closed forcefully, it gets jammed on this strip of wood. I don't know how to fix this problem short of replacing the entire frame. I've already tried shimming the hinges and it doesn't seem to help at all. How can I fix this problem? Do I need to replace it with a prehung interior door? Here shows where the gap is just a touch too wide https://ift.tt/2HR1p9S via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2TpVjzj
