wife and i want to repaint our laminate kitchen cabinets. this is all we really have a budget for therefore replacing is out of the question. weve been doing some research and have a pretty good general idea of what we need to do. the general steps we have are to remove cabinet doors, wipe the gloss off to help the primer/paint to adhere, sand, prime, paint.i just have a couple questions regarding getting the cabinets ready:ive read that we have to clean the gloss/stain off the laminate cabinets. ive read from a couple sources to use TSP or xylol.
