I'm trying to modernize a '60's ranch house. We have done a ton - gutters, roof, paint, flooring, plumbing, French drains, etc.I'm trying to figure out how to tackle the yard/landscaping. Plus I need a new driveway, garage, deck. HVAC upgrades. Interior upgrades.Problem is, my husband is no longer capable of helping me the way he once did. We once tackled this stuff together. When I start making a list of the things I need to do now, i get overwhelmed.I have the money to invest but have no idea how to plan and execute. Can you please point me to some beginner-level YouTube videos or other sources that might help to educate me? Like Bob Vila but more basic?Do I need to hire a general contractor, or can I do this stuff (doubtful I even could schedule a contractor, as our area is going through a boom)? This is probably a common, very basic ask for this sub. Appreciate ANY help. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2Fa9l4j
