A little background about me I am a single guy in early 20's Make $17.50/hour I live in California, mostly specially san Francisco. I do have health insurance through my work.
I made some math and supposedly my salary is around $35k before taxes. Around $27k-$30k after taxes. $2.5k ish a month
But some how I actually only make around $2k amount. It could be possible that is because my work cuts my hours a bit. Sometimes 1 week I work 36 hours and 38 hours the next week.
Am I doing anything wrong? Is my job actually ripping me off? Did I do something wrong in my taxes or w2 something/somewhere?
