My contract for my phone is up for renewal and I don't intend on getting a new phone. I looked about and one of the best deals I could see was 45GB for £18 with my ISP, as good as the offer was I didn't feel like changing SIM providers and having to faff about with a PAC to get my number transferred. Called my supplier, told them what I could get and that if they didn't match it or thereabouts I'd leave, they offered me the 40GB data contract for £18 instead £36. Apparently it does pay to just ask!
