I am a college student living on fixed income due to severe disability. I have schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder and even though i am medicated regularly enough to function normally and attend online classes i need to avoid high stress scenarios. I am on social security disability and that helps me with things like medication, food, and until recently housing. I have been living with my parents trying to work my way through school so i can get a job to support myself. I pay $350 to live in a shoe box apartment separate from the house with no bathroom or kitchen facilities. Recently my father and i got into an argument and he demanded i leave in 30 days. I need advice financially on what i can do to find housing without losing the ability to afford medication, food, and school. i can realistically pay about $400 a month for rent out of my $700 check.
