Our house used to have a pool that was filled in before we got here. Unfortunately, the sidewalks surrounding the "pool" still exist and are kind of weird (they lead to shrubs). We also had troublesome windows that we replaced, but I kept the old sashes. With these two things combined, I wanted to make a greenhouse.https://ift.tt/2EnoflX never really done a structure before, just furniture, and I don't really know what I'm doing. I'm most concerned by the sheer number of windows and how much that messes up stud spacing. This is just the shell, it'll have plywood on the outside and corrugated plastic roofing. I'm looking for any feedback on the design.Questions:How can I be sure this wall is structurally sound? Is this the right way to put in stationary windows?Do I need wood between the top and bottom sash?If I just build this on a concrete slab, do I need to do anything to anchor the wood structure to the concrete? What? What am I missing? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2VtZ3RF
