I’ve been doing this off and on for a little while to generate some tax free income. There are obviously risks: the funds could decline in value on the open market, there could be defaults, also these things are not cheap and some are levered which could increase the risks.
Are there other risks I am unaware of? Do people have experience investing in these? Are there other ways to generate tax free income without much initial investment?
