I filed my taxes for the first time by myself using FreeTaxUSA. However, a few weeks later, an amended W-2 was sent to me by mail. The biggest difference was my "Wages" which was $100 less. So basically, after I entered the amended W-2 details on MyFreeTaxUSA, the state will end up paying me $2.
Now, is it really necessary to file this since it's gonna cost me $15 to file an amended return while I only get $2 from state? I could care less about the $2, the state can keep it.
