As subject says, my tax return has been rejected now for the 5th year in a row. I called IRS about this last year and was told this sometimes happens if someone mistypes a SSN in their return and it happens to be your SSN, but getting unlucky like that 5 times is very unlikely to be a coincidence! Has anyone heard of anything like this and what could it be? I guess it's possible my dependents SSN was stolen and being used fraudulently but IRS must've caught on by now?
