I made another steel rose. The last time I submitted a time lapse video of me making one of these DIY deleted it because it didnt cover every single step. So here I present 30 hours of work in one 8 minute and 20 second time lapse. This one is actually being donated to a charity auction to raise money for a school that specializes in teaching kids with learning disabilities. Ive documented a previous build but it missed a LOT of the work that goes into it.So I shot 95% of the process for building this one. I didnt include designing the template, or buying the steelIm an IT gremlin by profession and stuff like this has always been a hobby.Im not a welder by any means, so we dont need to discuss my shitty shitty welding (ok, please? I know it sucks, im getting better)The tools used here:Angle GrinderDremelCheap "My First" WelderBlow Torch (With MAP gas. its like propane but burns hotter, comes in a yellow cylinder instead of a blue one)Needle Nose PliersA bench Vicesome quick clampsa chipping hammerTheres no audio because I didnt have any royalty free music and i figured id save you from the god awful loud noises LOL.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWLmKl0fXM8(yes, i know, the website listed is anemic to say the best. One thing at a time. Was more interested in finishing the rose for the auction)So Overlords of DIY if you would kindly allow me to post this here... its for charity.I did post a link in r/somethingImade but I thought DIY might enjoy this as well via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2RFUnWv
