It’s super easy.If you’re state/province jurisdiction allows it, removing ACM tiles is incredibly simple using the dry ice method. Just let the dry ice sit on the tiles for a minute or 2, then, using a sharp blade/chisel pry up around the tile and the tile pops right up. If you’re left with the asphalt adhesive (black), use a rag soaked in Goof Off to slowly rub off the adhesive. It works extremely well.ALWAYS make sure to wear the proper PPE (P100 respirator, Tyvek suit, eye protection) and dispose of the non-friable materials in accordance with your state or province. Please note, an OSHA inspector for a decade during the 80/90’s Asbestos-is-giving-the-whole-world-cancer craze, and an environmental/industrial hygienist of 30+ years, provided the direction on this one, he also happens to be my father via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2To8i8D
