Is it the BIFL-ability, or does it actually make a noticeable difference in haircare? I'm pretty satisfied with my (~$30) generic wood handle boar and nylon bristle brush, but if this hairbrush is actually follicle miracles, I'm thinking of taking the plunge.
I have Asian rapunzel hair. It's looong but straight and pretty thick. I've broken a MP dupe because the handle was plastic and it cracked right at the base of the brush. I'm a little worried I'll break a Mason too. Since then, I've been only using wood handle brushes (I've broken many plastic brushes), and I'm a little worried because it seems that masons are plastic.
I've read reviews that say it gives your hair a more noticeable sheen/volume and seen comparison shots, but I'm not sure I trust it all that much.
Wondering what you guys think. What do you like about your Mason? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
