Has it ever been discussed here to do some flairs for individuals who work in the industry, are a student of certain degrees, possess those degrees, or hold certain certifications? This could help separate people who may have some valuable earned insight from those just talking out of their behinds.
Sure, you still have to take advice and insight with a grain of salt, but I for one would like to know if I'm talking to a certified financial planner or some guy who lost all his money being part of WSB and decided to clean up his image over here.
Whenever people have questions about money, particularly when they're gullible or desperate, there's always someone who wants to take advantage of that. Considering this sub is probably where a lot of people, new to investing, go for information, there's a fairly significant opportunity for them to be taken advantage of. Flairing people, even if limited to just CFPs, could help alleviate some of that.
