Hi DIY! I’m wanting to see if it’s possible to recreate these kitty korner door flaps . The website says they’re a patented sliding locking hinge and I can’t seem to find anything similar when looking online myself.If I can avoid it, I’d much rather do this project myself since I need two doors done like this and the website sells the pattern and hinges for $40 each/$75 for 2 and that seems a bit outrageous to me. Also they were a kickstarter I believe and still haven’t actually shipped anything out (according to Facebook they just got the products in so should be shipping soon).I am not a big fan of the normal cat door look so this seemed perfect. If it’s not something I can DIY though, I’ll wait to see if reviews on this product are positive before dropping that amount of cash via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2SsJ9Fs
