So my gf and I are discussing getting married. My financial situation is a train wreck in the short and long term and hers is not. We share many responsibilities now but would like to keep the finances completely separate legally. Is there a such a thing as the equivalent of a financial prenup? Any other suggestions (other than get my shit together..I'm in the process but my kids student loans are on the horizon so..we just want to he sure she is never on the hook in any way for those).
