Hi everyone,
I am wondering if someone would be willing to look over my budget that I have created? I am starting a new job in May and I want to make sure I am looking at this the right way and accounting for everything I need too. Also, if there is any way that I can cut down on something that would be great. I have a wife and one 5 year old kid if that helps. I'm graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering in May. My salary does not include overtime pay that I will get or bonuses. I get a raise in Feb 2020 along with a promotion (agreed to in offer letter). I currently have enough money in savings to pay off my credit cards and loan, but I want to keep it in savings just in case something happens before I finish school in May. So those two debts may be gone a couple months after I am settled in. Just spitting out any info that may help.
