I use my free time to meticulously pour over different offers/coupons/deals on things I buy all the time or things that aren't perishable. Then I'll make trips to each place for each thing. When I don't have a lot of free time, I probably won't make that second or third trip to save a couple of dollars, so when I have free time this is sort of a hobby which is facilitates efficiency. I know I'm probably not the only one who does this.
