I'm 22 and this is going to be the very first time I move out and live so far away from family.
I recently bought a used car which took all my savings, and now I have maybe $300 in the bank.
By the end of February I will have been at my first job for a year, so I am hoping it will make it easier to find a job in Iowa. Around this time is when I've been considering putting in my two-weeks notice and moving out to be with my boyfriend. But with how little I currently have saved up (and making minimum wage), I'm thinking it might be more realistic to move in by the end of summer.
So I'm here looking for advice on what to save up for, what financial problems I may run into, and how to make the financial transition as easy as possible with as little financial strain as possible, while I go looking for another job.
