I have a small spare room that I use for building and painting stuff. I also keep my 3D printer in there. It was pretty cluttered with tools, materials and other junk so I wanted to convert it into something a bit more useful.I have zero experience in doing any of this. I am no master craftsman and it probably shows but I just wanted it to be functional so not perfect is fine with me. During this build I learnt a lot and really enjoyed doing it and ended up with a workroom that I love.I started by laying laminate flooring in half of the room. I did this on top of the carpet which is probably not ideal but I didn't really want to take the carpet up and it seems to be OK six months later.I used a lot of 3D printed parts to cheat my way out of using traditional woodworking skills which I don't have, for example, I used 90 degree brackets on the drawers to make sure they were square. Not sure how they will hold up over time.I didn't fully document the build but here are some pictures I took during the buildhttps://imgur.com/a/U6OIDGS via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2G3PzIC
