I work in an office(most people go out for lunch or order in) and I bring my lunch, prep it the night before, I usually make a spinach salad, w/ grilled chicken and a simple dressing. From the instant I grab it from the fridge, I start dreading it. I get to the office put it in the fridge, still unhappy about my impending meal. During downtime/daydreaming(it happens), I start hyping up my salad in my mind....I start thinking ‘you saved money’ , ‘you’re going to feel great after it’ ‘you didn’t spend an hour on lunch so you might leave early.’ It usually works and I end up happy that I put the effort into myself, and I’m probably saving $50 a week
