I have an HSA from years ago with Health Equity. I’m no longer on a HDHP insurance plan, can I open an HSA at Fidelity and transfer or roll the funds over?
I assume the answer is yes, but when I go to open the account on Fidelity’s site, you have to confirm you have an eligible HDHP insurance plan to “open and contribute” to an HSA, and again on the next page you confirm you meet the requirements to open an account (no mention of contribute to the account).
