I work for a small company who uses an independent contractor who does our payroll, taxes, and benefits. He has a history of missing pay periods.. forgetting to enroll employees in health care benefits etc.
None of us have received our W-2 statements and I believe today (January 31) is the deadline? Is that correct? If so, is there anything I can do other than email my boss letting him know it’s a federal law that we receive these forms by the end of the day?
