I’m late to this party, but I’ve recently purchased 2 pairs of DT socks. They have pilled immediately even with proper care of inside out warm hand washing. My only conclusion is that I do walk around in them inside the house, so this may be the cause. I heard that these socks are best maintained when only used within a shoe, however they are incredibly comfortable and it would be nice to enjoy them at all times. Anything I can do to continue enjoying wearing them in the house or to slow/stop the pilling? Slippers are a possibility in winter, but way too hot in the summer. Thanks
