So I like to spend a lot of downtime staying home and playing iPad type games. My wife enjoys the same as well.
The appeal to me is that it is a great way to relax at home and is a low cost activity. (Many of the games are free w/ ads or cost only a few dollars). We live in the Midwest US so over these winter months it has been a great way to keep us occupied at home with low expenses. In the summer we take the devices outside to play games.
My question is - is this something that is considered a worthwhile hobby or are we getting sucked into a mindless device trap that is wasting our time and increasing laziness?
