One of my New Year's resolutions is to buy my first car - I have $50k saved and a steady full time job so I have a far few options. Uncertain as to whether I should go for a cheap car and upgrade in a few years or just buy a really sweet expensive one and keep it for ages, I went to the fount of wisdom in my life - my dad - for his advice.
