I've been working at a wholesale greenhouse for a few years now, so far I have had a pair of keen boots that fell apart after one season, now I'm on to a pair of thorgoods that I thought were going to last, but the sole came unglued in the back ruining the waterproofing. I tired to glue it back but I can't get it to seal again. I've thought about Muck Boots but a few of my co-workers use them and only get 2 seasons at the most out of them.

My requirements:
Absolutely must be waterproof, I spend a lot of time in mud and standing water. I will also use the boots in the winter.
Steel toe (or composite), I use a chainsaw, brush blade, and a pallet jack, and I would like to keep my toes.
Walking comfort, I usually walk more than 10,000 steps a day pulling orders or doing landscape work, which is why the keens fell apart (surprising considering they are hiking boots)
I liked the leather on the thorgoods but material doesn't really matter, I just want it to last.

My main goal is to get more than 2 seasons out of a pair of boots, I don't want to spend $200+ a year on boots. Which seems to be what my co-workers tell me is the reality of this job.
