This might be common in other places, but this is the first time I've heard about it around here. The credit union that my brother works at is opening a mini-branch at a local high school. They are opening up membership to students and faculty and hiring students to work as tellers. They will be restricted to savings accounts though. This is especially refreshing because it's the HS in one of the lower income areas that has a lot of unbanked citizens. I really hope this works out for them.
