My daughter was just diagnosed with a terminal illness. I had to quit my job to drive her to multiple appointments and therapies a week not to mention drive her to see specialists 2 states away. We did a large fundraiser for my daughter to cover gas and hotel costs for when we travel and made much more than expected, over 30k. 2e are in a substantial amount of student loan debt, but with one income and tight budgeting we can make it monthly. What do we do with this money? We also already have our 3m emergency fund.
