I was using Acorns as an investment platform. Over the past two years, it's really gotten me into the sport of investing. That said, the customer service and app reliability are total shit.
I've lost about $2000 in this current downturn.
Since I'd like to switch away from Acorns anyway and it's the end of the year, I'd like to make sure that I understand capital losses correctly.
Can I withdraw my funds, take a $2000 capital loss off my wages, wait a month (>31 days), then reinvest?
Please don't answer "It's time in the market not timing the market." I know that.
